Virtual Workshop: Molecular simulations and Machine Learning for Accelerated Discovery

As part of our ongoing scientifc programme on 12th January, 26 students and scientists from IBM and Oxford met for a virtual scientific workshop. With a mixture of student talks, group discussion and small breakout sessions the attendees discussed a range of topics at the interface of molecular simulations, computational chemistry and machine learning. The highlighly interdisciplinary event covered areas as wide as developnig new materials to combat climate change and antimicrobial resistance.
